This activity gives students a fun way to engage in adding because it allows students to roll a dice and provides them with the freedom to choose numbers for creating their own addends. This activity also allows students to create double-digit addition problems with or without regrouping, depending on their preference. Addition Tic-Tac-Toe Activity For this activity, your child will need a partner, so you can play with them. You and your child will take turns picking a problem to solve, and whoever gets 3 correct answers in a row first will win. From there, students should choose to play the game with Addition at a Medium level. This will provide students with various 2-Digit Addition problems for students to solve and further practice with.
