First Day of School Letter
Hello Parents,
I would like to welcome you and your child to my class! I am looking forward to the school year with them and getting to know and form connections with you!
Some information about me is that I received my ADT for Elementary Teacher Education from Bakersfield College. Meanwhile, I received my BA in Liberal Studies and my Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential from CSUB. This will be my first time teaching a class of my own, and I am so excited to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. I will work towards providing fun and quality education in order to prepare your child for the next grade level, and I will also work to keep you all informed on your children's educational progress throughout the year.
Just to give you all some insight on how my class is run, I would like you all to know that my main expectation for your children is that they come to school on time, ready to learn and to try their best! My homework policy is that there will be little to no homework as most work will be done in class. However, in the case that there is homework, I will send it home with your child and email you so you will be aware. Along with sending home potential homework, I may also send home important information such as school fliers that you may be interested in.
If you are interested in learning about additional aspects of the class, I have a website that you can visit: https://gecaclassroom.weebly.com/. The website covers my classroom policies and expectations in more depth if you are curious. If you need to reach me, you may contact me via email: [email protected] or by phone: (661) 345-9824. I am always open to help and discuss any additional questions, comments or concerns that you may have about your child and their education.
Thank you,
Ms. Geca ☻
